All exhibitors/partners are required to affix events collection label and delivery label on their consignment that needs shipping and/or collection stating-

Do you have a checklist for Sponsors/Partners to help them with setting up their stand?

  1. WiFi - There is a common wi-fi setup, that is used by everyone - delegates and partners. You will be notified on arrival

Sponsors can choose to opt out of the bespoke stands however, we strongly recommend to consider them to maintain uniformity and consistency.

How many people allowed on stand?

There is a maximum of four people on a regular stand. For larger stands please contact us for guidance.

Can I bring my own equipment and screen to the event?

Yes, you are welcome to bring screens, and any equipment that you may want on your stand during the expo, providing they comply with health and safety regulations.

Is parking available at the stadium?

Yes parking is available at the KLCC. Please write to kl@projectcontrolsexpo.com atleast 2 weeks before the event to reserve your parking space.

How do I collect my badge?

Once you submit your individual/group information, you will be registered and subsequently receive a QR code via the Project Controls Expo’s app to allow you or the individuals within your group. On the event day, when you show this at the entry gate, you will receive your name badge at the venue.
Alternatively, you may also carry the registration confirmation email, that you should have received right after your registration, from our website. However, please note this might take a little longer time than the above process, as we are required to manually look for your name in our system.

Do you provide badge scanner? What are the costs and when would the data be available?

Are there any additional available services that you offer, such as meeting coordination etc?

The event day is very busy hence we won’t be able to coordinate any meetings for you. However, we will be happy to make a couple of announcements via the Project Controls Expo’s app with notifications to support our partners.

Additionally, we have a feature “Ask a Q to speakers/SMEs” offering delegates to meet a speaker and SME. Full details can be seen on our website.

Is there a dress code? If so does it vary on your role?

We recommend business attire for the event. There is no separate dress code for the cultural program and dinner.

Are there any marketing materials you need us to provide in advance?

All of the marketing material requirements are listed on the initial event booking form. Additionally, our marketing team may require specific information to support you with designing promotional materials featuring your presence.

When and how do you provide list of conference attendees?

Due to stringent data protection laws and to prevent mass marketing to our delegates we are unable to provide a full delegate list. We will only provide the list of delegates, who choose to share their details with our selected Partners.

Is there an app for the event?

We have an app for Project Controls Expo. We strongly recommend installing it on your device. Please visit our App page for its benefits. Allowing you to see your QR code and permitting you to print your name badge on site.

As a ‘supported by’ professional body what do we get?

What is the deadline for cancelling a registration?

Yes, you may cancel your registration to the expo by writing to us at kl@projectcontrolsexpo.com We will be updating our Registration page with the cancellation policy very soon.

Can I make payment via credit card instead of PayPal or can I make the payment over the phone?

Even if you do not have PayPal account, you can use your credit card to make the payment via PayPal. If you choose to make the payment over the phone, please email us with your contact details and our team will contact you to collect the payment. It is important to highlight that we do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties. Please note your registration is successful soon after the payment.

What should I do if I get registration failure? Is there anyone whom I can get in touch with?

How do I arrange meeting with SME (Subject Matter Expert)?

Delegates get an opportunity to interact with our SME by sending the request in advance via our app or website. Delegates will be allocated a specific time for the meeting – subject to availability and on a first come first serve basis. For more information please check our  Ask a Q page.

How do I get the Expo app log in details?

What are the criteria for submitting a technical paper?

The submission paper must be in MS Word format. Adobe PDF format in addition to this will be helpful.
It must be within the domain of project controls (planning, scheduling, cost engineering and estimating, risk management, forensic analysis and/or change management).
Synopsis of the submission paper must be of 100-175 words and should address the major aspects of your paper. Summarize the scope and nature of the work upon which the paper is based. Note the relative emphasis of the paper on either research work or practical applications for projects. Describe the results presented in the paper and state specific conclusions of your work. Describe how these differ from results or conclusions of previous work on the same or similar subjects. The submission paper must be within 1500-2500 words and must contain:

How to earn PDU's for attending the expo?

You can earn 8 PDU's in line with PMI guidance shared at https://www.pmi.org/certifications/maintain/earn-pdus/education . To claim the PDU’s for attending the expo event, you may need to opt for the “informal learning” category as identified in the above link. To support your request to PMI, we will be happy to share the event attendance certificate which we hope is accepted by PMI.

Are there any joining instructions for the cultural program and dinner?

If you have already registered to attend the Cultural Program and Dinner on the 24th of August 2021, you may view full joining instructions with all of the details you need to know ahead of the event date.

Do I need to register via the website?

No, we will get you registered providing you let us know whether you definitely plan to attend the dinner and whether you have any special dietary requirements.

Will I get a promo code to invite my colleagues or clients to the Expo?

YES, we will send you a special promo code to invite up to 2 delegates. We will send you a personalized email with your Expo app log in details (i.e., username and password)

Am I invited to the cultural program and dinner?

Yes, we will be delighted to have you as our guest at the dinner. However, please do ensure to confirm whether you will be planning to attend and advise of any dietary or access requirements ahead of the event. Bearing in mind that the cultural program and dinner takes place the night before the Expo.

Can I take part in the Petronas Twin Tower tour?

Do I require a special PowerPoint template for my presentation?

Yes, this will be supplied to you.

Can I alter the Expo presentation template?

We request you to keep the Expo presentation template unchanged, just so that the theme of the Expo can be maintained.
We understand that some organisations have strict brand guidelines and Press departments insist that presentations are only made on company templates. We will have to consider your application if such a request is made.

Am I able to adjust the PowerPoint template in layout?

Please check with us before changing the template.

Is there a room for speakers where we can work or make calls during the day if required?

How long is my time slot?

It is 45 minutes, remember to include Q&A time into this.

Any other conditions or considerations I should know about? I assume I give you my slides ahead of time and you load them on your system, could I play video clips etc if I want to?

No conditions, all we will need is final slide pack before the session. No restrictions on type of content but avoid large embedded files.

Is there a left luggage area for overnight bags?

Do I need to carry my presentation in a USB drive or any of my devices, on the event day?

All the presentations will be loaded on our computers which will be installed in each of the presentation rooms. Speakers can keep their presentation on a USB as a back-up.
