Refund policy for event bookings

Cancellation Period (from the date of event)

  • 1 month: 0% ​refund
  • 1-3 months: 25% ​refund
  • 3+ months: 50% ​refund

Tickets for virtual access

Tickets are non-changeable, non-upgradable, and/or non-refundable

Personal data

Your personal data will be processed in accordance with the Project Controls Expo Malaysia privacy policy .

Security

At the beginning of the event you will be briefed as to the evacuation procedure, please ensure you understand where your nearest emergency exit and assembly point are.

Any unattended bags should be reported to a member of staff.

Photography

Flash photography and filming will be taken at our events.

Permission to use footage of participants at our events throughout our various communication platforms (for commercial and non-commercial purposes) is assumed unless written notification is received.

Please email kl@projectcontrolexpo.com if either of these issues will affect your attendance at the event.

We have an official camera team recording the sessions, any other recording will require prior consent.

Speaker presentations

The views expressed by any speaker at our events are their own views and no endorsement or recommendation by Project Controls Expo Malaysia should be assumed.

Force Majeure

  • For the purposes of these terms and conditions, Force Majeure Event means an event beyond the reasonable control of Project Controls Expo Malaysia including but not limited to strikes, lock-outs or other industrial disputes (whether involving the workforce of Project Controls Expo Malaysia or any other party), failure of a utility service or transport network, act of God, war, riot, civil commotion, malicious damage, compliance with any law or governmental order, rule, regulation or direction, accident, breakdown of plant or machinery, fire, flood, storm or default of suppliers or subcontractors.
  • Project Controls Expo Malaysia shall not be liable as a result of any delay or failure to perform its obligations to you as a result of a Force Majeure Event.
  • If the Force Majeure Event prevents Project Controls Expo Malaysia from performing its obligations to you, for example if an event is cancelled as a result of a Force Majeure Event, Project Controls Expo Malaysia (as the case may be) shall, without limiting its other rights or remedies, have the right to terminate any contract with you immediately by giving you written notice.
  • Written notice may be given by post or email, and a post on Project Controls Expo Malaysia website shall also constitute effective written notice.

Registrations with Promo Code

If you have a promo/special code that allows you to register FREE, please update the same in registration form. Please note that standard charges would apply for additional/optional features such as workshop, Cultural Program & Dinner and Petronas Twin Towers tour. This feature is not applicable after 19th May 2022.

Discount for Corporate Registrations

If you are registering more than 5 delegates from the same company, you are eligible for 50% discount for additional delegates i.e., delegate 6 and onwards.* Please send the names of the delegates along with their contact details and titles at kl@ProjectControlExpo.com. to allow us to include them in delegate list and we will send you the invoice. This feature is not applicable after 19th May 2022..

Cultural Program & Dinner

Full delegate details and dietary requirements will need to be provided no later than one month prior to the event date.

Petronas twin towers tour

Delegates wish to join the Petronas Twin Towers tour would need to pay additional US $50 plus tax.

Special note

Expo 2022 offers complimentary all-day beverages, light breakfast, buffet lunch and “evening social” (includes beer, wine and soft drinks) to all delegates.
